During a microblading treatment, one of our expert providers at The Refinery will use a special hand tool with ultra fine needles. This tool will etch “hair” into your skin with a pigment that is ideal for your skin tone as well as natural or desired brow color.
In about 30 days, you’ll return to our office for your final treatment. As long as you take good care of your skin, microblading treatments should last anywhere between 1 to 3 years.
A typical microblading treatment will take anywhere between 1 and 2 hours to complete. While your skin may seem a bit tight and brows may appear darker for a few days, you can return to work and your daily responsibilities immediately. The end result, you’ll be left with fuller eyebrows, an improved arch, and a lovely facial appearance.
Good Candidates for Microblading
You may benefit from microblading if you’re concerned about your brows being short, sparse, or uneven. This treatment may also make sense if you can’t fill them correctly or lack a natural arch. We do not recommend microblading, however, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a skin condition like active acne or psoriasis, or are susceptible to keloids or post-inflammatory hypopigmentation.
