Kybella is administered as a series of small injections directly into the fat beneath the chin. Most patients need multiple treatment sessions, spaced at least one month apart, to achieve their desired results. Because Kybella permanently destroys treated fat cells, further treatment is not needed once the desired chin contour is achieved.
