What Is Rejuvapen Microneedling?
The Rejuvapen Microneedling system uses a collection of 12 stainless steel needle cartridges and innovative microneedling technology to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, decrease pore size, improve the appearance of acne scarring, stimulate circulation, and to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin.
How Does Rejuvapen Microneedling Work?
The rejuvapen uses tiny needles to penetrate the skin at a controlled speed and depth. Once the tiny micro-perforations are made, the skin is triggered to start producing collagen and elastin to repair the tiny holes. Rejuvapen activates cell regeneration and enhances the absorption of any topical treatments into the skin.

How Long Does A Typical Treatment Take?
Each treatment takes less than an hour. The area being treated will be cleansed first. Then a thin layer of numbing cream will be applied. The device is then passed over the skin. Most patients will return for 4 treatments spaced 2 weeks apart. The number of treatments will be determined on an individual basis, based on the individual’s specific needs.
What Results Will I See?
Patients will begin to see results almost immediately and they will continue to improve over time. The skin will have a smoother texture and more even color. Enlarged pores will be reduced in size and any acne scarring will begin to improve in appearance. Fine lines and wrinkles will be less noticeable leaving the patient with an all around more youthful appearance.
Is There Any Downtime?
Rejuvapen microneedling treatments have no downtime. Patients can have their treatment and return to their regular activities immediately. There can be temporary redness for anywhere from 1 hour to several days. After the Rejuvapen treatment, sun protection with an SPF of 30 or greater that blocks UVA and UVB rays is a must in the days following treatment. Additionally, it is recommended to avoid exercise for 24 hours after treatment.
